Felony charges were recently dismissed for a Washington woman.

Court documents show that through a plea agreement, 20-year-old Tailor Rae Poland is convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor, and class D felony charges of a controlled substance violation and failure to affix drug tax stamp were dismissed. Poland is ordered to pay a $105 fine with a 15% criminal services surcharge, as well as court costs and any court-appointed attorney fees. Judgment must also be paid within 30 days of the order.

Poland was arrested last December for incidents that occurred in April of 2020. A search warrant was conducted in the 300 block of South C Avenue where several narcotic items were located in plain view, and a bag containing individual tablets were sent to the Division of Criminal Investigation lab for testing and came back positive as methamphetamine.
