A Keota man was arrested on a Washington County warrant Friday.

Forty-year-old Joshua Charles Lynam was found and arrested at approximately 10:14 p.m. at 209 West Keokuk Avenue in Keota, according to the Washington County Communications Center. The Keokuk County Sheriff’s Office transported Lynam to the Washington County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance third or subsequent offense and eluding, both class D felonies, and operating while under the influence first offense, a serious misdemeanor, OWI and eluding injury. Bond has been set at $10,000 cash only. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
