Three members of the Hillcrest Academy Raven softball team earned academic all-state honors as student-athletes this summer from the Iowa Girls Coaches Association.

Meredith Blossom, Madeline Fox and Sarah Miller all received the award.

Blossom hit .214 this year with 12 total hits, six RBI and three runs scored.

Fox, hit .415 to lead Hillcrest. She had 22 total hits, 11 runs scored and six RBI. She was named first team all-Southeast Iowa Superconference as an infielder with a .938 fielding percentage.

Miller hit .210 with 13 total hits, seven RBI and six runs scored.

Academic All-State selections must be seniors who finish their final semester with a 3.85 or better GPA.
