Winfield Deputy City Clerk Lisa Rees gives credit to local businesses for helping financially support this year’s celebration, “Our local businesses have stepped up and they have been very very generous. With that we’re able to offer all the inflatables, all the games, pony rides, all that kind of stuff is gonna be at no charge.”
Sunday will wrap up the weekend with a community church service at 10 a.m. at the Presbyterian Church followed by the JR Hewitt memorial Car Show and Softball tournament at 11. KCII will be broadcasting live from Winfield from 8-11:30 a.m. Saturday as a part of the Big Red Radio Summer Town Tour. For more information visit here.
