The final all state baseball teams were released this week by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association and several area athletes made the cut.
Aidan Rath of Mid-Prairie was the only first team selection in the area and the senior received the top honor as a pitcher in class 2A. Washington had a pair of players named to the third team in class 3A with catcher Ethan Zieglowsky and outfielder Reece Mayer. Sigourney’s Cade Molyneux made it on the second team outfield for class 1A and Levi Crawford was third team second base. Keota was represented with Colten Clarahan receiving third team accolades as a pitcher.
Each all state team for every class had two pitchers, two catchers, every infield spot, four outfielders, and three utility players recognized.
