A Bloomfield man was arrested on a warrant out of Washington County Tuesday.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report at approximately 3:09 p.m. of a subject wanted on a warrant spotted in the 300 block of West 2nd Street in Ottumwa. Forty-three year-old Jacob Lucas Comer was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense, a class D felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. Bond has been set at $5,300 cash only. Extradition arrangements will be made with Wapello County. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
