The second biggest story from Hillcrest Academy Raven athletics in the most recent school year takes us to the track where a Raven senior finished his career at state on the blue oval at Drake Stadium in Des Moines. Raven Aaron Hershberger qualified for state in two different events with his performance at Roth Field at WACO High School in the class 1A state qualifier meet. Hershberger was second in the 400m hurdles in Wayland with a time of 57.65 seconds and fourth in the 110 high hurdles in 16.29 seconds, both personal bests.

In Des Moines, Hershberger was 16th in the 400 hurdles in 59.09 seconds and 17th in the 110 highs with a time of 16.39 seconds.
