Celebration of Life Service for 72-year-old Tim Barnes of Keota will be held at 11a.m. Thursday, August 26th at Powell Funeral Home in Keota. The service will be livestreamed on the Powell Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial will be at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery near Van Meter. Visitation will be from 4-7p.m. Wednesday, August 25th at the funeral home. The family requests no flowers. A memorial fund has been established for Essence of Life Hospice. The Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota is caring for Tim and his family.
