A Washington man was arrested after an altercation took place Friday.
At about 2:41 p.m. the Washington Police Department responded to a call for someone that was causing problems at their apartment located in the 300 block of West Washington Boulevard. Officers then arrested 47-year-old Michael Dean Carlin on four Washington County warrants for failure to appear for arraignment on possession of a controlled substance third or subsequent offense, pretrial violation on domestic abuse assault – impeding air flow causing bodily injury, domestic abuse assault third or subsequent offense, and possession of contraband in a correctional facility, all class D felonies, false imprisonment, a serious misdemeanor; failure to appear for pretrial conference for unauthorized use of a credit card under $1,500, an aggravated misdemeanor; and failure to appear for trial for violation of a no contact order. Charges were also filed for interference with official acts. Bond was set at $17,300. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
