Washington High School will once again honor their local heroes tomorrow at Case Field for the football team’s annual Heroes Night.

In the Demons’ week two matchup against Mount Pleasant, the school welcomes all past and present EMT firefighters, law enforcement, and military personnel to participate in a night to recognize these individuals. The celebration will begin with a parade of all the heroes that will start at the high school and end at Case Field. The parade route that starts at 4:45 p.m. will go northbound on E Avenue, east on Tyler Street to South Avenue B, north to Van Buren Street, and east to Case Field. Following the freshmen game, all heroes are welcome to join the football team on the field for team warmups at approximately 6:30 p.m. and to stand on the five-yard line during the playing of the national anthem.

Tomorrow night’s game is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start and listen to it on FM 106.1 KCII.
