The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk and Hillcrest Academy Raven volleyball teams will both be on the court today in tournament action. The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks are in Muscatine this Saturday. The Hawks are 4-1 on the year after suffering their first loss Thursday on the road at West Branch in four sets. For the season, the Golden Hawks are led by Ella Groenewold with 24 kills, Landry Pacha has 62 assists, Dakota Mitchell leads the Hawk defense with 32 digs and Maddie Nonnenmann has nine blocks.

Joining the Hawks today are Burlington, Durant, Mediapolis, No. 8 in class 1A New London, No. 8 in class 3A West Liberty, Williamsburg and the homestanding Muskies. Action starts at 9a.m. and continues throughout the day at Muscatine High School.

Hillcrest Academy will be at the Burlington Notre Dame tournament today. The Ravens are 0-6 this season after a five set loss on the road to Lone Tree Thursday. For the year, the Ravens are led by Esther Hughes with 24 kills and 14 blocks, Norah Yoder with 56 assists and Malia Yoder with 50 digs. Joining the Ravens at the tournament are Centerville, Danville, Keokuk, Louisa-Muscatine, Wapello and the homestanding No. 1 ranked in 1A Nikes. Action starts Saturday at 9a.m. and continues through the day.
