A Washington business celebrated a milestone Thursday.

The Washington Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors held a “ribbon cutting” to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Jaz It Up Boutique located on West Washington Street in downtown. Owner Aimee Enfield was joined by her husband Jeff and other family members as well as her employees to celebrate the occasion. Enfield shared that the store was first conceived as a home decorating business, as she had years of experience doing that with her mother. It then evolved over the years to fill what Enfield believes was a need in Washington for women’s clothing and accessories. The ambassadors remarked on the innovative things her business has done over the years, from online fashion shows, to even assisting other local businesses in setting up online shopping during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, which Chamber Director Michelle Redlinger says was a big help. Attendees were also treated to food, beverages, and gift card prize drawings as part of a three day long open house that ends Saturday.
