It was a happy ride home from Packwood for the Highland volleyball team on Thursday when they picked up a Southeast Iowa Super Conference win with a five set victory over Pekin. 

Set scores in the north division clash included 22-25, 26-24, 16-25, 25-9, and 15-9. Sarah Burton led the offense with 11 kills and MyLei Smith recorded 20 assists. Burton and Mackinze Hora added 14 digs defensively and the team was successful on 88 of 101 serves with 16 aces. 

The Huskies improve to 4-3 and they travel to Winfield-Mt. Union (8-4) on Thursday.
