A Washington woman was arrested following a two-vehicle wreck at South 12th Avenue and East Washington Street Sunday evening.

The Washington Police Department, Washington County Ambulance Service, Washington Fire and EMS, and Washington County Rescue responded to the incident at 4:52 p.m., according to the Washington County Communications Center. The wreck involved driver 52-year-old Paige Fuentes and a parked vehicle. Washington County Ambulance Service transported one person to Washington County Hospital and Clinics. The Washington Police Department later conducted a search warrant at about 6 p.m. at the hospital, and Fuentes was arrested for operating while intoxicated – first offense, a serious misdemeanor. She was also cited for failure to maintain control and failure to provide proof of insurance.
