It was a Monday tournament for the Winfield-Mt. Union volleyball team this week when they traveled for the Holy Trinity tournament and went 2-2 on the night.
The Wolves fell to the host Crusaders (5-21, 13-21) and Wapello (18-21, 18-21), but defeated Southeast Conference schools in Burlington (21-16, 24-22) and Fort Madison (21-19, 21-10). Keely Malone set up most of the offense with 44 assists in the four matches, Bradie Buffington had 17 kills, and Keetyn Townsley recorded 46 digs.
WMU is now 12-6 and they travel to Letts tomorrow for the Southeast Iowa Super Conference tournament.
