Washington, Mid-Prairie and Columbus are represented in the week four cross country poll issued by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

In class 3A, the Washington Demon boys are ranked No. 20 in the state. Individually, a pair of Demons appear in the poll with Lance Sobaski standing at No. 6 in 3A and Micah Rees No. 22.

In class 2A, the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls continue to have a stranglehold on the top spot in the poll, they have been No. 1 all season. The entire scoring portion of the Mid-Prairie lineup, their top five runners, are represented in this week’s poll. Danielle Hostetler is ranked No. 1, Sydney Yoder No. 9, Jaden Yoder No. 17, Phoebe Shetler No. 18 and Mitzi Evans No. 23

The Mid-Prairie boys are No. 5 in class 2A with senior Thaddeus Shetler No. 6 in the individual poll.

In class 1A the Columbus boys are No. 15 in this week’s rankings. The Wildcats have individual representative Freddy Vergara at No. 21 in the standings.
