One motorist was injured in a single motorcycle wreck in Washington County Saturday.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office states that at about 3:21 p.m. the driver, Hai Phuoc Hinh of Mount Pleasant was driving a 2007 Honda VT750 southbound near 2973 Wayland Road when they entered into the curve, failed to safely negotiate the curve, left the roadway to the right and came to rest in the west ditch. Washington County Ambulance Service transported Hinh to Washington County Hospital and Clinics for treatment of minor injuries and the motorcycle was driven away from the scene. No citations were issued. Washington police, fire, and EMS departments, and Washington County Rescue assisted at the scene.
