The Keota volleyball team welcomed Colfax-Mingo for a South Iowa Cedar League showdown on Thursday and the road Tigerhawks took care of business in straight sets. 

Colfax-Mingo (13-5) handled the match with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, and 25-11. Taylor Kindred led the Eagle attack with seven kills and Makenzie Jackson had five. Macie McDonald dished out 10 assists while Kimberly Clarahan had 15 digs and Cassandra Swantz managed 14. The team connected on 43 of 54 serves with four aces. 

Keota is now 5-11 overall, 1-5 in the SICL, and they travel to face North Mahaska (12-11) on Monday.
