The Highland Huskies have crowned a homecoming king and queen. 

During the Boom Night festivities held in Riverside’s Hall Park Wednesday, Jalynn Brown was crowned as homecoming queen with Eli Slaymaker as king. Rounding out the 2021 homecoming court was Connor Grinstead, Carson Netser, Tristen Wendling, Grace Batcheller, Carsen Mellinger, and Mackenze Hora. Today will close out homecoming week with the Husky Olympics, varsity football game versus the Wapello Indians at 7 p.m. and a semi-formal high school dance from 9-midnight.
