
The spooky season has arrived and cities in Washington County are getting prepped for nights of candy and costumes.
As Halloween falls on a Sunday this year, residents will have the opportunity to expand the Halloween night into a full weekend. Festivities kick off with the Ainsworth Fall Festival costume parade from 3-4 p.m. Saturday, October 30th followed by the Brighton Trick or Treat night from 5-8 p.m. Halloween night will be filled to the brim with opportunities to grab candy and show off your costume with the Crawfordsville celebration from 5-8 p.m., trick or treating in Riverside from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Washington trick or treat night from 6-8 p.m., beggars night with no specific hours in Kalona, and the City of Wellman’s neighborhood trick or treating and “Trunk or Treat” event on Main Street from 6-8 p.m. For more information on Halloween celebrations in Washington County, visit our community calendar.
