Public hearings followed by possible action on plans and specifications for the Wellness Park water main extension and lease agreement with East Central Iowa Council of Governments for the Washington County Minibus building are on the agenda for the Washington City Council tonight.

The council will also consider action on a water utility vendor agreement with HACAP for a low-income household assistance program, a design change for the West Buchanan paving project, employee health insurance renewal for 2022, and a fire suppression foam agreement. They’ll also consider a resolution to decline exercising extraterritorial jurisdiction for the Jarrard Property, and second reading of an ordinance for no parking zones. The council meets at 6 p.m. in the city hall council chambers.
