A Brighton man was arrested on firearm charges Wednesday.
The Washington County Communications Center received a report at approximately 8:02 p.m. of a loose female black lab in the 300 block of West Main Street in Brighton. A Washington County Sheriff’s deputy responded when the dog was returned to the owner by a neighbor. The deputy then arrested a suspect at that residence, 36-year-old Keith James Charlier. Charlier was wanted on a Washington County warrant for two counts of control of a firearm by a domestic abuse offender, a class D felony. Bond has been set at $10,000 cash only. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
