A Keota woman was arrested on Washington County charges Wednesday.

The Washington County Communications Center states that a Washington County Sheriff’s deputy was conducting an interview at 6:28 p.m. in the 1300 block of 250th Street for a theft investigation. The deputy then arrested 41-year-old Jamie Lynn Wendt on two counts of forgery, a class D felony, for incidents that occurred on October 15-16 and two counts of fifth-degree theft, a simple misdemeanor. No bond was set for Wendt. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
