A bottled water order for has been issued by the City of Columbus Junction.

The City notified Wednesday afternoon that the bottled water order is in effect until further notice due to a water main break. Those affected in Columbus Junction are residents that live south of the high school including Colton Street, Flat Iron Drive, Oakview Drive, Ridge Road, Midway Drive, Orchard Lane, East Meadow Lane, New Heritage Drive, Village Square, South Hill Avenue, and Crestwood Drive. It is also in effect for all of Columbus City. Bottled water must be used for drinking and cooking until water testing is completed and the water is confirm safe to consume.
