After one of the best seasons in recent program history, the Mid-Prairie volleyball team received accolades for their play on the court from the River Valley Conference.
Five Golden Hawks were named all-River Valley Conference, two received elite status.
Golden Hawk junior Ella Groenewold was an elite selection as a middle hitter. She posted 212 kills on offense, sixth in the River Valley South. Her defense at the net was key for Mid-Prairie where she finished with 105 blocks, fourth in class 3A.
Mid-Prairie freshman Dakota Mitchell was an elite pick at libero. In her first year with Mid-Prairie she finished second in the River Valley South and sixth in class 3A with 463 digs. Mitchell also added 67 assists and 33 kills.
Golden Hawk senior Cana Rediger was an all-South Division team member as a defensive specialist. She had 161 digs on the season.
Mid-Prairie junior Landry Pacha was an all-South Division selection as a setter. Her 614 assists were third in the division. She reached the 1,000 assist milestone late in the season. She also contributed 149 digs, 68 kills, and 28 blocks.
Golden Hawk junior Maya Nonnenmann was an honorable mention South Division selection in the RVC. She closed out the year with 150 kills, 154 digs and 27 blocks.
Mid-Prairie ended the season with a 16-14 overall record. Their first winning season since 2008.
