clock

In case you’re wondering why your oven clock and your cell phone don’t match up, Daylight Saving Time concluded this morning.

On the first Sunday of November clocks roll back one hour at 2 a.m. for most of the U.S. including Iowa. This means the sun will now rise earlier in the morning and set earlier in the evening. While you’re changing clocks around the home it’s a recommended time to check or change your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors twice annually. Daylight Saving Time is set to begin on the second Sunday of March which in 2022 falls on March 13th at 2 a.m. when we spring clocks one hour ahead.
