Agencies responded to a two-vehicle collision Wednesday evening at the intersection of Highway 1/92 and West 5th Street in Washington.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office states that at about 6:06 p.m., Jaron Rosien of Washington was driving a GMC Canyon westbound on 5th Street while Robyn Lasek of Washington was driving a Dodge Charger southbound on Highway 1. Rosien stopped at the stop sign and then crossed Highway 1 without yielding to Lasek, which resulted in Lasek t-boning Rosien’s vehicle. Airbags deployed and both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. One person was transported by Washington County Ambulance Service to Washington County Hospital and Clinics, and both vehicles were towed from the scene. Rosien was cited for failure to yield. Washington EMS, fire, and police departments and Bulltown Towing also responded to the scene.
