The best of Iowa’s fall colors may be behind us, but Washington-area youth can continue to embrace orange, red, brown, and more during a free event this Monday.
The Washington Public Library is hosting a “Teen Crafternoon” event from 4-5 p.m. in the Nicola-Stoufer room. Those in 6-12th grades will learn how to make an autumn-themed watercolor painting while using the Resist technique with a salt texture. All materials will be provided for this free event. Registration is not needed, while face masks are required.
