A Washington woman has been ordered to serve time in the Washington County Jail for violating her probation on a drug charge.
Court records show 48-year-old Mary Jane Soto was arrested last August for allegedly violating her probation on a conviction of possession of methamphetamine and operating while under the influence, both serious misdemeanors. The court found Soto guilty and ordered her to serve 120 days in the county jail and receive credit for time already served in custody. She must pay court-appointed attorney fees if applicable, court costs, and category B restitution. She was also declared to be unsuccessfully discharged from probation. Soto was originally charged with possession with intent to distribute less than five grams of meth, a class C felony, for an August 31, 2019 offense.
