The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys basketball team is kicking off the new basketball season Monday when they host a jamboree. The schedule includes eight teams from southeast Iowa with games beginning at 6p.m. Wilton will meet Eddyville-Blakesburg to open the night, West Branch faces off with Williamsburg, Tipton takes on Pekin and the night cap features the Golden Hawks against the Mt. Pleasant Panthers.
