It’s a three-peat for one Washington High School student performing at the All-State Music Festival tomorrow.
Tuba player and junior Kevin Flannery auditioned and was selected for the third year in a row for the All-State band, though this will only be his second performance as last year’s All-State proceedings did not include a concert. Flannery traveled to Ames Thursday to begin rehearsals for the 75th annual festival, and the concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow with awards at 7:15 at Hilton Coliseum at Iowa State Center.
