The Mid-Prairie School board is set to welcome two new members during their regular meeting Monday.
Following the November 2nd city and school board election, newcomers Jed Seward and Jake Snider were chosen with incumbent Gabby Frederick. After the directors take the oath of office, the board will elect and swear in a new president and vice-president. Other items on the agenda include discussion on Washington and Johnson County Conference Board representatives, Interest Based Bargaining Board representatives, the second reading for the district’s drone policy, School Budget Review Committee additional allowable growth request and the Iowa Association of School Boards convention. The board will also continue discussion on the district facility improvements plan and consider setting a public hearing date for Secure an Advanced Vision for Education sales tax bonding. The evening will conclude with a closed session for the annual superintendent evaluation.
The meeting will take place at the Central Administration Office Community Room at 6:15 p.m.
