Washington-area residents looking to get in the holiday spirit without having to pull out the lights and ornaments can purchase their tickets for the 30th annual Candlelight Tour of Homes.
The Washington Chamber of Commerce invites residents to tour four participating country homes, and stop at Repurpose It in Washington where Chamber Events Coordinator Alisha Davis says participants can enjoy a craft and appetizer stop, “We’re also doing these ‘peppermint polaroids.’ So we’re really excited about these, you can get just a polaroid with your friends or with yourself or family and take that home. And there will be a really cute backdrop and a photographer will be there to take those. Wooden Wheel Vineyards is also doing a wine tasting so there’s a lot of little added bonuses with your ticket this year.”
All stops will be open on Saturday, December 4th from 4-8 p.m. and Sunday, December 5th from 1-4 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance and can be purchased online, at one of the participating businesses, and during the lighted parade this evening in Washington. They can also be purchased for $15 at any of the stops during the event. Proceeds go to support the holiday lights around the square. For more information on the tour visit here.
