The two teenagers charged as adults in the death of Fairfield resident Nohema Graber pleaded not guilty Monday.

Sixteen year olds Jeremy Everett Goodale and Willard Noble Chaiden Miller of Fairfield are both charged with first-degree murder, a class A felony, and conspiracy to commit a forcible felony, a class C felony, for the death of 66-year-old Graber. The longtime Fairfield High School teacher’s body was found at Chautaqua City Park on November 3rd shortly after she was reported missing by her family. Authorities have not released a motive, though court documents show there were social media exchanges indicating Goodale shared specific details of the disappearance and subsequent death of Graber, as well as the motive for killing Graber, the planning and execution of the means to kill her, and deliberate attempts to conceal the crime. A pretrial conference is scheduled for both defendants for March 21, 2022, with a jury trial to begin on April 19th.
