Agencies responded to a residence fire early Saturday morning in Washington.

The Washington County Communications Center received a call at 3:28 a.m. from 1413 East 3rd Street. A pickup truck in the driveway and the porch were showing flames and the residents extinguished part of the blaze prior to calling dispatch. Washington Fire Chief Brendan DeLong says agencies were on scene for approximately an hour. The truck incurred minor damage and the house exterior had minimal damage. No injuries were reported. Washington Police and EMS and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene. The State Fire Marshal was contacted to assist in determining the cause of the fire.
