Traffic was slowed at the intersection of Highway 1 and 190th Street Monday afternoon while agencies responded to a two-vehicle wreck.

KCII staff reports the incident occurred shortly before 4 p.m. involving a minivan and a sport utility vehicle, and both vehicles came to a rest in a cornfield on the northwest corner of the intersection. Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Washington County Rescue, Washington and Kalona fire departments, and Kalona EMS have responded to the scene.
