The Highland wrestling team went 1-1 in a pair of duals at English Valleys Tuesday. Highland’s win came over the home team, beating the Bears 37-36 on the least number of forfeits criteria to break the tie. Ayden Havel got Highland’s lone win in a contested match at 152lbs by fall.

The Huskies dropped their dual with Moravia 60-18. The Huskies got wins in contested matches against the Mohawks at 138lbs with Carlos Valenzuela by fall and Isaac Kleese at 182 by fall. The Huskies dual record is now 2-3. Highland will wrestle a Superconference triangular against Van Buren and West Burlington Notre Dame Thursday.
