A Mount Pleasant man was sent to the hospital following a vehicle crash Tuesday.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office received reports at approximately 6:26 a.m. of a single vehicle incident in the 2900 grid of Benton Avenue near Salem. After an investigation, it was found that 18-year-old Chase Lincoln Lenz was traveling southbound in a 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage on Benton Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle while traversing a curve on the gravel road. Chase sustained minor injuries and took a private transport to the Henry County Health Center. He was subsequently given a citation for failing to maintain control of a motor vehicle. The vehicle was a total loss. Paramedics from the Henry County Health Center assisted with the incident.
