Santa Claus is beaming down to Riverside tomorrow to help bring the Christmas spirit to local families.
Tomorrow from 10 to 11:30 a.m., Santa will be making a stop at the Riverside Fire Station to take pictures with kids and families and hand out goodie bags with assorted candy and fruit. Milk, juice and cookies will also be served to all participants. Riverside City Clerk Becky LaRoche says the community club has been sponsoring the visit with Santa at the fire station for around 40 years. Donations from the Betty Kaalberg Santa Fund have helped put on this event for the past 10 years. Kaalberg was a member of the Riverside City Council from 2007 to 2011 upon her passing. The fund was started in memoriam to help keep the tradition of Santa coming to town.
