A Fairfield man was arrested on multiple felony assault charges Friday night.

The Washington County Communications Center states they received a call at about 9:15 p.m. for a suspect that is banned from the property at 3184 Highway 22 in Riverside. Washington and Johnson county sheriff’s deputies, Riverside QRS, and Washington County Ambulance Service responded, and 37-year-old Spencer Wallice Bright was arrested. Bright is charged with assault while participating in a felony, and disarming a peace officer, both class D felonies, assault on a peace officer causing bodily injury, an aggravated misdemeanor, interference with official acts causing bodily injury, a serious misdemeanor, disorderly conduct, a simple misdemeanor, and trespassing first offense.
