It was another productive trip west for the Washington boys’ basketball team on Tuesday when they traveled to Oskaloosa and downed the Little Hawkeye Conference foe 75-63.

Both teams got out to a frantic pace with the Demons holding a 23-20 advantage after one before things settled down for a 34-28 Washington lead at the break. A 20-15 third quarter helped the Demons get some separation and fend off the winless Indians (0-4). Lucas Kroll and Ethan Patterson led all scorers with 18 points a piece. Travis Leyden and Lance Sobaski were also in double figures with 13 and 12 points, respectively. The team finished 15 of 23 from the free throw line.

Washington stays perfect by improving to 5-0 and they get back on the court Friday hosting Mount Pleasant in a Southeast Conference matchup that can be heard on KCII.
