Kingpins Bowling Center in Burlington was the destination for the Washington bowling teams on Friday to wrap up the 2021 portion of the season and the Demons placed third in a triangular.
The Washington boys finished the evening with 2,335 pins compared to Mount Pleasant’s 2,367 and Burlington’s 2,617. Ethan Zieglowsky chalked up another meet title to his resume with a two-game series score of 483 including a high game of 247. Sophomore brother Caleb Zieglowsky was also a bright spot placing third with 386 pins. Other Demon scores included Cole Anderson 295, Quentin Howard 259, Ismat Abdurahimov 227, and Cashden Pepper 213. Baker game totals included Burlington 867, Mount Pleasant 735, and Washington 685.
The Demon girls had just two bowlers that finished with a 505 score while the Grayhounds were second with 1,886 and the Panthers won with 2,194. Leigha Heisdorffer finished with a 199 series and Emma Chenoweth had 126. Baker games had Mount Pleasant with 716, Burlington with 667, and Washington with 180.
