The Sigourney-Keota bowling team wrapped up the first half of the season last week with a trip to Newton at Cardinal Lanes and the Cobras split the meet.
The boys team emerged victorious over the host Cardinals by a final count of 2,443-2,228 pins. The Cobras owned the top three spots including champion Corren Freel with a two-game score of 367. Brock Alderson and Landyn Greiner placed second and third with 339 and 327 series, respectively. Other scores included Gable Goff 264, Drew Dobbins 253, and Ty Krueger 138. Baker games favored S-K by a final count of 893-729.
The Cobra girls were on the short end of a 2,361-1,622 final pin count. Samantha Bombei led the team with a series of 267. Addison Richardson recorded a 239, Jayden Montgomery 210, Lily Vanvoltenburg 192, and Sofya Lobzova 150. Baker game totals had Newton with 794 and Sigourney-Keota with 564.
The Cobras will next hit the lanes January 8th in Oskaloosa.
