Six people face felony charges following a string of vehicle burglaries, firearm thefts, robberies, and other incidents that occurred in the Mount Pleasant area this fall.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office reports that they have jointly investigated these alleged crimes with the Mount Pleasant Police Department over the last several months. Throughout these investigations, several search warrants were received and executed. As a result, six suspects have been arrested:

Nineteen-year-old Levi Whaley of Mount Pleasant is charged with first-degree robbery, a class B felony, second-degree robbery and intimidation with a dangerous weapon, both class C felonies, second-degree criminal mischief, a class D felony, and third-degree attempted burglary of a motor vehicle, a serious misdemeanor. Seventeen-year-old Bryce Cohn of Mount Pleasant also faces the same charges except the dangerous weapon offense.

Nineteen-year-old Maddison Millard of Mount Pleasant is charged with possession with intent to deliver ecstasy, a class B felony, in addition to class C felony robbery, and possession with intent to deliver marijuana, trafficking stolen weapons, and felon in possession of a firearm, all class D felonies. Eighteen-year-old Thomas Lambert of Mount Pleasant faces two counts of trafficking stolen weapons and second-degree theft, all class D felonies, and third-degree vehicle burglary, an aggravated misdemeanor.

Nineteen-year-old Ryan Maschmann of Wayland is also charged with third-degree vehicle burglary, as well as first and second-degree robbery and second-degree criminal mischief. Twenty-year-old Tabian Waddle of Morning Sun faces first-degree robbery. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
