The Kewash Nature Trail is continuing to see new amenities following the completion of its phase two pavement.
During the Washington County Conservation Board meeting on December 9th, Executive Director Zach Rozmus updated the board on the status of the Kewash Nature Trail heading into the new year. Above average temperatures this December accelerated the growth of the plantings conducted along phase two, meeting the required 70% vegetation rate for the project. For future improvements, Rozmus says they will be installing new bike racks and a fix-it station along with a memorial bench near the bridge. Installation will take place once they have received the necessary materials and when weather permits.
