The Washington City Council recently held a public hearing and approved a resolution adopting plans and specifications, form of contract, and estimate of cost for the construction of phase two of the NLW housing subdivision.
The total estimated cost is $702,907 for the infrastructure work for 12 new residential lots to be located north of phase one, south of East Tyler Street near South 12th Avenue. This will include seven single-family and five multi-family lots. The city will receive sealed bids for the work by 11 a.m. January 13th, and construction for the infrastructure is expected to be completed by June 30th of 2022. All of phase one’s nine lots were sold to Matnic, LLC. this past March with the condition to have homes all built within 36 months.
