Per state law, the Washington County Board of Supervisors will be meeting this Monday instead of their usual Tuesday schedule this week.

County supervisors are required to meet on the first business day that follows January 1st, and this week the board will appoint the 2022 chairperson and vice chairperson. The meeting will also include a public hearing followed by possible action on a proposed redistricting plan for the supervisor districts in accordance with the new census. The board will also consider action regarding call pay for the county ambulance service director and proposed changes to the ambulance service policy and procedures handbook. The supervisors will also consider commission, board, and committee member appointments including the 8th Judicial District Correctional Board.
