Two people were arrested following a possible domestic situation near Wayland Monday.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office states at about 3:39 a.m. they were requested by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office to assist with the call involving 36-year-old Nathan Russell Beckler, who at the time had a felony arrest warrant for pretrial release violation on charges of possession of a firearm by a felon, a class D felony, and driving while barred, an aggravated misdemeanor. Deputies responded to the 600 block of North Pearl Street in Wayland where Beckler was located, as well as 35-year-old Jennifer Gail Sands of Ainsworth. Beckler and Sands both have no contact/protective orders in place between them, and they were subsequently arrested for violation of those orders, a simple misdemeanor. Bond was set for Beckler at $10,000 cash only. KCII will bring you more information as it becomes official.
