As colder temperatures continue to keep residents indoors, the City of Kalona is continuing their efforts to provide hot meals to the community.

The senior meal program will continue to provide services throughout the winter season with meal delivery from 11 a.m. to noon every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. In 2020, the City of Kalona partnered with the City of Wellman and the Goodwin Senior Dining center to make meals available to those in Kalona that were in need. Since the start, Kalona has delivered over 2,500 hot meals to residents. Cost of the meals is based on need and ranges from $2-$7.
