The Sigourney-Keota bowling teams made a trip to Knoxville on Saturday with the boys winning a heads up dual and the girls falling to the Panthers. 

The boys defeated the Panthers 2,663 pins to 2,501 despite being edged in the baker game count 863-845. Brock Alderson paced the Cobras by placing first with a two-game series of 446 and Landyn Greiner was runner-up with 390. Drew Dobbins shot a 335, Corren Freel 334, Ty Krueger 313, and Jordan Shadley 297. They improve to 4-2 on the season.

The SK girls were on the short end against Knoxville by a final count of 1,989 to 1,600. Baker games favored the Panthers 705 to 506. Samantha Bombei finished second with a 266 series. Lily Vanvoltenburg tallied a 257, Addison Richardson 200, Sofya Lobzova 198, and Jayden Montgomery 173. The Cobras drop to 1-5 on the campaign. 

SK gets back at it today hosting a triangular that also features area school Washington.
